New to the forum, but I've been using radar detectors since the invention of the first Fuzzbuster. I currently have an Escort 9500ix, and have been looking into an installed system. The 9500ix has served me well, but since I frequently travel to military bases, I need something that doesn't require me to take it off the windshield when I enter a base.
