    ALP control pad update feature?

When using the control pad and you are hit from the front or rear it has a distinctive solid tone with Only different colors for front or back! How about when you are hit from the front you get a say a real fast audible chirping or solid tone and for a rear hit get a different tone--

that way at the exact second you know where you are hit at, and either to apply heavy brake(front hit) or emergency handle pull or whatever(rear hit) so you dont activate your brakes and tip off the PO-PO! Just a thought?

Just glance at the LED when you're hit. There's enough sounds that I have to keep track of (X, K, Ka, hand-held LIDAR, error-sensitive LIDAR, parking sensor activation, Poliscan, etc) that the last thing I need is more sounds.

Tones for front and rear are the same. Only difference would be the LED color.

I support your wish , under alert i dont think to scan the little led , i rather scan to find the
threat ...it would be quite simple to implement a different sound as they already have the information.

HiFi is a solution in view.

Alp connect : i dont like to pass by a phone to get my infos .

I tried to get a get a photocell to differenciate the color ...no success.

Use the External LED in your instrument cluster somewhere. Its bright and you really cant miss it.

I did it , tough under stress (high speed + alert) the brain process more easily an audio information
than a visual one , the eyes being already very busy to scan the road.

Plus i dont think it is pleasant to have a blinking led in my field of view , even a non-blinking led.

Why i insist : would be so easy to implement , we loose nothing to ask , at least
the demand will be in the queue.

Wont happen. People complain that there are already too many different sounds to remember. You will have to wait for HiFi if you want audible notification.

'' People complain that there are already too many different sounds to remember.''

To this i respond , why our demand should suffer from others people choice ....does this make
    my need less important ?

Dont get this logic .... 96% prefer coffee to thea .....so we dont serve thea ...!

Of course if the demand is stopped here ...yes it wont happen.

The product is designed for the masses and not custom coded for a small group of individuals. We offer several options for just about everything but I dont see any demand to confuse people further with more different tones from the Control Module.
