Running Multiple jammers at the same time

    All,

I've had an Escort 9500ci system w/ZR4's installed for the last 4 years and its served me well. I figure now is a good time as any to upgrade the aging ZR4's which will give me better protection against laser.

So I just ordered the AL Priority Quint (5 sensors) for my White SUV.

Since the 9500CI 's radar unit still has some life left in it, I figure I'd keep it operational and install the ALP in addition to the ZR4's.

Does anyone know if using these systems simultaneously would help or hurt the systems jamming capability. Once installed I would have two ZR4 head up front along with the 3 ALP Heads (5 Total in front), and then in the Rear, I would have 2 ALP Heads and the ZR4 on the License plate (Total 3 in the rear)

Could they interfere with each other in response to a laser hit ? Or would it not matter ?

If so, I guess I could put the ZR4's in receive mode only, and let the ALP do its thing for laser protection & let the 9500ci warn me of radar...

    Anyone's Thoughts on this ?

ALP is so sensitive and powerfull that you don't need any more the ZR4's.
Never run two different systems in one because you can made interference each other.

Enjoy the speed of your car.

Don't run two jammer systems together. There will be interference between
the two jammers witch will result in red and blue lights in rearview.

I ran ZR4/M27/ and quad LIs all together and we tested all combinations of the three with zero interference.
However, the ALP is MUCH more advanced and sensitive and it DOES gather interference from the others. Let the ALP jam the LEO instead of occupying its resources jamming the ZRs!
ALP is all you need now.

    Excellent Points..

That was my main concern as well, The Interference. I'll put the Zr4's in detect mode only and leave them that way.... and then let the ALP do its thing..

    Thanks for everyone's help !!

Excellent.. Keeping it detection will cause zero interference and you will be good to go. Post some pictures of the install when done.
