    Long range cams for seatbelts/mobiles coming soon to WA

    As some people have mentioned, and sighted, long range cams are currently under certification for use in WA, similar to those already introduced in VIC in April ;

    On Thursday, Acting Deputy Commissioner Michelle Fyfe said police also had another hi-tech weapon to help turn the tide on road trauma - a long-range zoom camera that could capture clear images of drivers from up to 700m (2,300 feet) away.
    I'll keep an eye on the WA Govt Gazette for when its approved for use
