    Long range cams for seatbelts/mobiles coming soon to WA

    As some people have mentioned, and sighted, long range cams are currently under certification for use in WA, similar to those already introduced in VIC in April ;

    On Thursday, Acting Deputy Commissioner Michelle Fyfe said police also had another hi-tech weapon to help turn the tide on road trauma - a long-range zoom camera that could capture clear images of drivers from up to 700m (2,300 feet) away.
    I'll keep an eye on the WA Govt Gazette for when its approved for use

    im actually glad with this new high tech camera for mobile phone users ..don't know how many times I have been nearly wiped out because some dick wants to send a messege while driving through a roundabout ..or even beep the horn to remind him/her that the traffic light wont get any more greener

    just lets hope this doesn't lead to them to see the jammer heads firing since it uses IR
