Hi, All.
I stumbled across this forum when I was looking for information and came across some info about ALP.
I recently purchase the all new singing and dancing 9500CI with the optional add on rear sensor upgrade. (>$2K ) on the basis that the main reviews were stating that this is the ultimate stealth package. (I was green, now im doing more research.)
(Im still waiting for the unit/s to be delivered as the option pack was on back order.( I know I was sucked in, now!))
I live in a place where they only use PoliScan fixed and mobile units, the government here are actively removing the not so old existing digital fixed cameras and replacing them with the new German revenue generators, the relatively small country I live in must be purchasing the entire production line!! They have already installed more than 50 of these units as a trial, they plan to install another 150 of them in the next 12 months, these things are popping up every day in new locations overnight, literally!!
So here I am attempting to save my self some cash rather than donating it to the government!! ( proactive spending rather than reactive.)
I have many questions but not for here I guess.

Unfortunately, we have had the Poliscan in Western Australia since 2010, so have quite a bit of experience on how to defend against it. Rear facing cameras (photograph the rear of the car after passing) are the hardest to defend against, and you'll need multiple angled heads for that.

If your Escort package has the Laser Shifter Pro's (LSP's) they should be capable of jamming Poliscan if setup right, as they are basically Laser Interceptors (LI's)

For the Poliscan problems you face I would recommend you pay close attention to what the Australians have to say about good defense installs.The Aussies are the EXPERTS when it comes to the VPS from Germany...they have many years experience fighting these speed camera systems.

Too bad you did not do your research prior to getting the 9500CI PRO, The Best custom installed combo would have been the Beltronics Sti-R Plus + ALP.
