Oh I got My ALPS.... Now i have no Clue what to do ...

Hey guys... ok so i have read and read and read. I followed the instructions on how to up date and i did it, or so i think? Is there anyway to confirm that the up date took and that the setting changes took affect?
Also drilled a hole for the supplied LED, problem is that it flashes all the time, I thought( assumed ) it only flashed when i was getting an alert? what is the point of this little LED? because i couldnt imagine anyone having that on while driving, that thing is stupid brite!!!
does anyone know if i need poliscan? Im in FL...
    Suggestions?? Help?

I just got mine today too lol..

Will install tomorrow--in the setup file (PRO mode) you can chose to only have the blinky lite to function when you are Targeted!! thats what I did with mine. DO you have the BT module as iit makes it very easy to see what firmware you have

Yes Keep Poliscan on as thats what BRD told me cause I asked the same question

Tim, Do you know if poliscan is used in USA? i havent found anything that say yes or no.
I also set the system to constant jam and installed a separate switch to kill the system and im ok with that, but with it set up this way is there any quick way to switch it to parking mode? I travel from FL to NY often and would like to have a back up in case i do get disco lights

You can keep a different usb key with a setup where you choose ''parking only'' , you dont even have to close the system to
    produce the change :
while in protected mode , you insert the ''parking only'' key and it will change to green only , takes 5 secs maximum.

Thats good to know--you just insert USB and it automatically changes to green and parking mode! I thought you had to restart it

Me too i thought this , by pure error i inserted my ''green'' key ....immediately the control started to bip and flash ...
then the led keeps green = i was in park mode !

Wait i just checked : without shutting off the system = i get the green light only but no sound no red led when an obstacle is present.

I tried by shutting the system , i get green and the red signal of obstacle ...

Please try your way to make sure , i dont want to give wrong infos !!!
