Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.
Welcome aboard
I see by the join date that you've been here for a bit. So I won't welcome you as someone new, but as someone that I am very glad to have here, and also to know that you are here. I currently own and run several Escort RD's, but I've owned a number of Whistlers, all the way back to the RadarEye brown box with the toggle switch. They all served me quite well and I never had any complaints. VG's endorsements of you both as an engineer and as a man of integrity also impress me quite favorably. Looking forward to your input here.
