    Its lets AntiLaser know what version software you are running on your ALP and also what hardware you have attached to it. It will also allow you to download future firmware which for security reasons is coded to individual registered units.

    This reminds me of the old DTV / Dish cards with individual code written by programmers. Different kind of cat and mouse game here though. Concept seems the same though.

    I still have all the HU and H card loaders somewhere. When a new bin would come out I would have to re program like 50 cards.

    Don't you miss those days? I used to have an unlooper. One stop unlooping and programming in one shot.

    Sent you a PM. Please lets stay on topic. In the Past AL Products were cloned and they put too much into the AL Priority for it to happen again. These things are locked down very well and if a unit was to ever get cloned they could easily cut off all updates to those units.
