then clean the usb key , insert the UCSET.bin on the key and proceed ?

You can put all 3 files CPU Firmware, Control Module Firmware & Setup File all on the same USB drive. CPU Firmware will go first and once restarted turn off with the power button and turn on and it will move to the next file.

SO a simple restart is needed to suck each file off the USB stick--Cause I will have all 3 on one. Then I will have a dedicated USB with only the parking sensor set up "Just in case"

I do the same. I don't see a need for the privacy mode that requires a key on the USB stick in order to start up, since if pulled over, I'd just put the parking sensor USB stick in there and do a quick reprogram.

EDIT: I wish there were some way to lock out the privacy mode, unless a special key combination is entered. A (small) worry of mine is that someone who's rummaging through my car might be able to put my ALP into privacy mode and remove the USB stick, thereby making my ALP useless (for example, what if the car gets towed and the cops want to be evil?).

Can I confirm that at this stage, to perform all firmware upgrades, those with the Bluetooth module have to remove the module and insert the controller?
This being the case I assume, when will AL change this?
I don't want to nor do I suspect others, have to pull apart parts of my dash every time there is an upgrade. Surely this can be worked into the App.
    Thanks

Only the initial update needs the Control Module since the standard firmware shipped on the units does not recognize the Bluetooth Module. After you update the firmware for the first time all subsequent updates can be updated with the Bluetooth module connected and its actually a much better experience since it will show you the status of the update as its installing on the screen.

I was an early adopter & registered back in Sept. Then recently I decided to add 2 more Sensors in the Rear.I now have a Quint install. When I went to Register the 2 new ones I thought my CPU serial # or my name/email address would bring up my previous Registration...but it DID NOT !

I didn't have to tear my sys. apart b/c I wrote down all Serial #'s in my AL manual...so I just re-Registered everything again.

So what does registration actually do other than letting us know when a new firmware update is available?
