    ALP for an F-150

Alright, I've got a chromed out F-150 front-end. That should be a joy to protect, right? Not quite as easy as the M3.

    So, 2 heads enough?

Blue for dual, green for triple. Would MUCH prefer 2 front 2 rear

I would put 3 on the front with all that chrome... I think the lower green would be a good spot if you have a front plate, if not then i would run 3 in the upper, but the upper grill i would do the blue but move them in to the outer grill. measure and if you can not meet the 18Inchs round then get it into the best area..
This is going to be a tough one to cover, but i would have to say you will need 3 for sure.

If money is no issue go with green. If go with blue
Mount closest to headlights if possible. My main concern
    Is off axis.

^x2 I'd go green (pun intended). Take advantage of the fact the alp allows 5 heads and run 3 up front. As RR said I would go as close to HL as possible. If you can fit them in the area to the left (and right) of the cross bars in the grill that would be ideal (IMO)

With my wife's Acadia I have 3 heads and its been bullet proof. All along one straight line. So here is another choice which will be less obvious "RED"

Are those high enough to cover up the windshield way? How about the center red above the oval?

You will be protected well. My 3 heads on the Acadia are even lower and they tested extremely well.

As well as the 3 heads. If you are worried about the chrome, possibly paint the front grill black with a product called ' plastic dip '. Its essentially rubber paint that lasts a long time and when you are finished with it, just peal it off like you would a sticker. Also possibly some veil on the headlights.
