Without having a cam and more details my guess is he shot a vehicle in front of you or even on the other side of the road as you passed and with the sensitivity of the ALP you caught a reflection off of the other vehicle that was shot. ALP's respond instantly and I have never seen a delay on any shot.

I agree with Toms assessment as I've never seen a delay in the testing we have done and Won and I have tested every gun except a laser atlanta.

If it was a reflection, it should of been a Rear alert and not a Front alert. Right? Since I was 200' past him and there is no way the 3 front sensors would got a reflection.

If he shot a car behind you yes, it should have been a rear alert. However, if for some reason he shot a car in front of you, even after you passed, you would get the alert from the front. ALP's are ridiculous sensitive and will pick up scatter. The only explanation would be for some reason he shot a car in front of you, after you passed him.

Ok. I guess the next investment is going to be a CAM. I wanted to turn around and try it again but I was running late. The next time I see them in my town with it, I am going to do a couple laps.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I were driving home on the parkway. There was a cop shooting lidar, but he didn't shoot me b/c I saw him way ahead of time, slowed, and moved over to the right lane. I wanted to turn around and my wife looked at me like I had three heads, and called me a dork.

Yeah, but you still won't know the exact moment the trigger is pulled to determine if you have a "delay" or not.I'll bring a couple of walkie-talkies so you can "hear" me announce while I pull the trigger.

If he was shooting a car coming towards you or a car in front of you your front heads would most likely catch the scatter not your rear heads.

I agree here, no way the front heads should have alerted to a car being shot behind you at 200ft and the rear didn't alert. However in rain or a dusty conditions lidar can reflect/disperse off particles in the air and provide a good amount of scatter so this may be why?
