Okay I found the problem. Anyone loading files with a Mac, don't. When I went to do any type of updates other than the original. bin, ucset and setup file, the CPU would not take the updates. When I switched to a Windows machine, the setup file loaded no problem. The system would not do anything with the setup file loaded from my Apple computer, but when loaded with Windows, it loaded right away. The system now stays in dark mode all the time and I no longer have to change anymore settings. Just a warning for anyone thinking of updating any files through a Mac, don't! It took several attempts to figure this out. Just load all your files with a Windows PC, and you should be fine. I used a Net book with Windows 7. All is good now!

Normally we have not had any issues with Mac users. I wonder if the file extensions are being changed or if formatted on the Mac the USB uses a different file structure something different than Fat16 or Fat32?

Good point. More investigation is needed. For whatever reason, the files do not load properly from my iMac or Macbook at least. Running Maverick. From the Windows 7 Netbook, no problem at all. Good thing I kept it. Is the Key file (privacy mode) a type of file that can be emailed like normal? Or is different?

You should be able to email it to yourself for safe keeping.
