These iPhone BT lock-ups are very rare, most of owners will never experience one at all. Possibly future updates of the app will detect and notify of such situations.

I'd probably already have bought an ALP but I don't like the control pad.

I'd like to see something with actual buttons akin to the Bel STi-R or just simply have a remote speaker and a toggle switch like the LIs.

It does auto connect, It was just this one time (That i know of) that it had happened, If i had NOT notice i would have gotten tagged, i was hit 3 times with Lidar that day.. To me its just a safety per caution and really wish that it wasnt so hard to just add something like this to the program....

Oh no it does, as soon as i hit the app, it somes up searching and then when i switch them on you get 2 different alert tomes telling you 1 your connected and the other that your in defence mode

Right I understand but as you said you have to tap the app so every time you get in the car you have to hit the app it would be nice if it would just as soon as you turn on the key and the phone is on it would connect

If you leave the app on all of the time, and leave it in background mode, as soon as you start the car it will auto connect. You don't have to launch.
