Then if a LEO pulls you over and demands you hand the phone over, all he sees is some harmless game app. Plus it gives you something to play while waiting for your ticket.

That is a brilliant idea .

The reason I like this feature may prevent law enforcement from buying the same unit and plugging there usb stick in / or resetting it with there own copy of file easy to pass around it would be rather to easy to fall into the cops hands

Thats the important issue at least u can send it back to factory to get reset ,
Please I was talking bout this other day with installer Don't ever make this file AV for use of anyone except @ ALP factory or like approved service centre like BRD/ DCG now what u think about that its bit of sacrifice for security

The way it works as parking sensor only no detection without theft key saves our arses here in Australia ,

I wouldn't feel ok to run it without the USB anti theft feature not being in secure safe hands

Let them try hacking it or they be 1 step ahead!
Thankyou BRD for your Input however in Australia its so illegal 20 demerit points and confiscation and $2000AU fine= Im a p Plater and have 6Pts max LOL so I would lose my licence for 4 years if forbid on double demerit weekend it would rack up = 40 points $ 4000AU & fine confiscation !

Not sure if I posted this yet,
    JTG on fixed laser cameras,
The ALP is so smart it will soon read what gun is shot at us on the Hi Fi controller !
Is it possible to write a option to Jam fixed laser cameras??? That would kick arse if its not a handheld/ tripod with cop monitoring it why not JTG all the way!

If you are that concerned then why not just quickly initiate a firmware wipe with the control set?

JTGing anything official is a bad idea. What's to stop a camera from snapping pics of cars it couldn't get speed readings on?

Also, if it's in a van, do you know if someone's in there watching or not?

Also, with some odd exceptions (Poliscan) the same guns may be used handheld or as a part of a camera system.

this may have been mentioned, the new f/w , can be set so if your stopped the car turn yellow which is defence mode and is only activated after it passes a set speed, so is it possible to have it in parking mode green car, when stationary, instead of the defense mode one. for when u get pulled

Product already does this if you have GPS Connected and GPS has a signal showing that you are not moving. It will not go into defense if you are not traveling over the preset speed.

"Laser Interference Defense mechanism will not be activated unless you are moving at the speed greater then what you here define; this option will be activated only if GPS-receiver is connected to the system."

I have a GPS module and can test this and report back.

If you JTG me I'm pulling you
