Your friend DOES know that you're supposed to slow down, and then KILL the jammers so that they CAN get your speed, right?

Also, tell your friend to park in the garage next time so that when he enables Privacy Mode, if the cops show up at the door, he can pull the USB key before giving the cops access to the vehicle.

I've had jammers on my cars for almost 10 years and the law here in the UK has never explicitly outlawed them. Only recently has there been test cases that have led to draconian sentences for those caught having used them to evade a speeding fine.

Given this thread expressly asks for suggestions on features that users would like to see and everybody involved with AL may not be aware of the severity of punishment handed out if caught using a jammer in the UK I would have hoped that this sort of suggestion would be considered a possibility not dismissed out of hand.

Also I can find no mention of a privacy mode in my manual. There is an anti theft option mentioned which explicitly states that the ALP will not "power on" without the USB key inserted.

Is the manual incorrect and it should say "remains in parking mode?"

If that's the case then the security key is the way for me to go obviously.
It should power up but remain in parking mode.
