Are there plans to move production to China to bring costs down and help with increased adoption and market share gains?

Why would they? Croatia is the China of Europe. Production costs are about the same...

But there would be a noticeable quality difference....
Croatian made products are of higher quality.

Also the cost you are seeing is the after sales ongoing support.

Name the statistics file something other than SETUP.ALP, so that it doesn't keep obliterating my configuration file on the same USB drive.

You want them to start making shoddy products? I think not.

I have thought of that several times myself and could not understand why they did that. I will send a request and see if that can be updated. I like to keep my setup.alp file on my drive all the time and it does get replaced when statistics is run.

X2, I would always pay more for something with better quality. Its not about getting costs down and getting them in more hands. The product is a high end product and its worth every penny.

What about a option to turn the Big red MPH Zero Off? I know the peeps with an Iphone with GPS that actually works like it, but the ones that use an Itouch that cant utilize it and always seeing a big Zero all the time, it would be nice to turn that feature ON/OFF if we wanted too?

They are considering using GPS speed from the optional AL GPS Antenna to pass MPH to iPod's in the future.

I think this would be a good option on the iPhone as well, so you could save your batteries by not having to run the internal iPhone GPS constantly, but just take the speed data from the AL GPS antenna and display it.
