Agree, park sensor mode is the best option

ok thx , have the gps mod fitted , look forward to the mirage testing, i thought that when stopped and hit with a gun it would alert in defense mode when stationary, not to side track also at times show 1-3 bars to the right of the kms , but these bars show up at random, cant work out how or why what brings them on, also would be good to know when ur gps is locked and a notification on the phone app showing this

PLEASE NOTE: I am currently running on a BETA firmware testing the fix for DALA #5. Some of the options are not available in my version of the firmware. I will revert to the base firmware this afternoon and test it again.

    Beta Firmware:
My results currently indicate that the LID GPS is NOT working at all. I have mine set at 12 mph and regardless if I'm moving or standing still the LID still alerts regardless. I'll do more testing this afternoon on current firmware and let you know.

    Current Firmware:
Good news current firmware works as expected. The car will turn yellow when it's below the GPS speed and blue when it's above it. Very nice. I did have to reset my system to defaults to get it to engage though. Not sure why.

Maybe have two settable speed thresholds, one for jam->detect only, and one for detect->park only. The park-only threshold could be set to something like 5 mph, so it's in park mode whenever stopped or crawling (or parking).

Also offer a way to switch to park-only mode (panic button) for those not using a GPS module, and not requiring USB.

Not sure if this has been brought up, and I could certainly see how it wouldn't be a priority but it sure would be nice.
When I connect my BT module to my phone and my phone to my vehicles BT it will sound alerts through my vehicle sound system. Which is great! However it will not play any sounds if I select a different source on my audio deck (such as XM radio). Now I'm not sure how Waze does it, but no matter what source I have selected it will still announce directions/info through the sound system even if I have a different source playing. Just a thought, or if someone has a fix even better!

Maybe I don't understand you. I don't connect my phone via any cables it's strictly bluetooth. There has to be a fix for it if waze can override the vehicles source. Why can't any other app?

Try again. Here is no way Waze can change the source selector on your radio if you are not on Bluetooth already. I cant see anyway that Waze can put audio through your vehicle if you are not on the Bluetooth input.

It uses HFP profile to override the vehicle sound system which allows for alerts to be announced even when its playing something other then BT audio.
