IIRC if both front and rear heads are triggered the ALP alerts to it as a front shot.

People who steal cars aren't smart enough to think of things like that. They'll either tear the ALP out and pawn it off, or just leave it since 99.9% of them probably won't know what it does in the first place.

And in the off chance that they do privacy lock the ALP, claim it on your insurance and get a new one. Or, that brings me back to another feature request I made earlier, add the ability, in some way, to remove privacy mode if you decide you don't want/need it anymore.

Perhaps privacy mode could be locked to the serial # much like firmware updates. Then a thief wanting to put it into privacy mode would have to go to the trouble of finding the serial # and putting it in to a website to get the key. Most thieves are too stupid/lazy to go to that amount of trouble.

I'm the smart 1 who never got caught! (only cause I own CM's LOL!)
I will operate my Ka band radar gun 50wat 400 to 490 MHZ radio radar detector D alp where I want when I want how I want JUst try to stop me!
I hate speed camera operators with passion!

Now my only wish is that if the alp could tell what gun type it is and if the type of gun is 1 where operator wont pursue vechile or a fixed laser cam have it jTg! Then when it detects a gun like prolite4 then she jams to user settings ,

This would be the best thing you could do to advance the VPR protection at tad further !

I just want the ALPconnect too completely hide the recent alarms when in parking mode. Just so people can't scroll through your recent alarms when you get pulled over. Probably might be a good idea to hide the radar icon too.

If you get pulled over, just grab your phone, close the app and put it in your pocket.

Perhaps the app could be used as part of a "Privacy Mode Lite". When enabled, the ALP would switch to parking mode if the ALPConnect app is shut down, or if a special "panic button" is pressed in the app, the ALP would switch to parking mode and the app would close. The only way to re-enable defense mode is through the app again. If the phone is in your pocket they can't legally search it for evidence of a jammer (depending on the country anyway, but if they do, it's just a phone, and the ALP is just a parking sensor, right?).

I'm sure they will ask for a demonstration if they see the heads on the front. It would be nice to hand them the phone to play around with.. IF..... God forbid it ever happened

The enforcement in Australia had the right to test things in your car without you permission & search your entire car too, even pull your car apart if the suspect. They even go through your phone.

Last thing I would like them to see is an alarm history with Ultralye in it lol

Just a thought you could hit CLEAR? It will remove the items in your history.
