I think one of the most important would be to be able to switch to park sensor mode immediately.
This would be critical so if the LEO pulled you over and questioned you there would be no issue. To have to scramble to find and have a USB to stick in the port and reprogram whilst having to pull over and deal with the cops is asking a lot.

There is already a way to achieve what you describe. Please watch the video especially the part about the USB Privacy Key:



Create a privacy USB key (any USB flash drive will do), have it pluged in for blue mode and plug it out for immediate switch to green only mode. Plugging out during a Laser alert also functions as JTK+Switch over to green only mode.
