playing around last night at work

last night at work I had the young apprentice shoot my set up 4 head LI up front + 1 head m18 roof line mounted on roof rack and my rear 5 head ALP

the ALP was set to 9 seconds but was complete jam for those 9 seconds no reading obtained until unit automatically shut down

my front LI was consistent PT @ 31 ft he was a good shooter I even tried my self he said that he got reading aiming dead centre at number plate ...my best reading was at 21 ft twice in a row

it has me a little concerned as the poliscan may pick this up 31 ft isn't that far but still it wasn't JTG

NOTE all heads are angled for poliscan this was on a landrover series 2 and using a PL2

Yep, minimum Poliscan range is 10m (33 ft), so similar figures to the PL2 PT

having all the shine + spot lights isn't doing any justice not this week but next week im going to run the same test as I will be on late shift .. with him shooting and with the camera on the gun going to test with the set up as it is then hide my plate and do a run then remove the spot lights and do a run ...then I really need to start thinking about my bar work on the front its going to need to get changed

but looking at my set up @ 31 ft where PT happened we where aiming dead centre basically aiming direct at the head maybe 2 to 3 inches max below of the head

it has pros and cons mate ..some nights are real busy and not garrenteed to get away on time... but when its a silent night get to do your own shit work on the car or even have time to make some stuff up for home

in a way im was impressed because the the Pl2 is still picking out week points ...but on the flip side my LJ disappointed me
