The HiFi voice announces which profile you're selecting when you double-click the menu button. The LED shows blue, cyan or magenta briefly but then it reverts back to the LED color for the mode you're in (PDC, DLI, or LID).

If you have a timed LID profile and an unlimited LID profile, I recommend setting the LED to flashing on one and steady on the other, so you'll know which one you're in.
If I passed you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

Since the update , it seems my setting for the external led is lost , before it stayed off and lighted only under alert , setting was '' dark mode/ dimmed ''.

Using the same setting , now the led is dimmed but always on ?? Someone noticed the same behavior ?

You have the settings wrong on the config.alp file. There is no system changes with the last update that would effect the LED. If you dont want to use Profiles do not choose the Profile option on the top right of the configuration page.

Ok very fine Tom , i will re-do it . At first i did'nt notice the opt-in for the profile ...i taught i had to do 2 config files separately wich did not work as the second one would change for config(2).alp !

Finally i opted for the old fashion way , one key / one config as my set-up allows me to change at the flip of a switch.

I did so because once i understood the one config/3 profiles schematic , i loaded it and whatever the profile the control led stayed green on the 3 profiles ...i gave up and harbored to the old and safe known ...getting old i guess.

    Thanks for all.

I know I'm late to the game with this update, but, based on what you stated, I can opt-out of profiles? I don't want to use them. If I need to use them as parking sensors, I just pull the USB key from the cable as I have a privacy key file on it at all times.

On the configuration page if you want to use profiles you enable them. You do not need to use them.

    Control Box firmware update (12.03.2016)
    Release 5.2.2/6.6

    1. Added detection of new camera system – ARH Traffic-Spot.
    2. Additional LIDAR support improved
    3. Added support for the latest ALPConnect app. Profile button has been added to the app.
    4. Various bug-fixes and stability improvements (Radar antenna, Self-test, Bluetooth, PDC etc.).

Please Note - If you are running Radar Integration you MUST load a new configuration file. We are in the process of improving the radar integration process and adding support for additional 3rd party radar antennas. Settings for previous radar settings will be erased after this firmware update so you must load a new configuration file after the update is performed. If you update via BT and run radar integration you will lose your radar settings after the update so if you are not in the position to create a new configuration file please hold off on hitting the update button in ALP Connect until you have a configuration file on a USB Stick ready to go.

What is the new Voice Pack called? Gen 7? The alpupdate.com site has not reflected the voicepack name.
