You will still have the LED's and the Defense "Thump" sound to know the system is on and in defense mode.

i liked it, oh well i will just have to retrain my brain .. yes tom i understand you cant please everyone... the most important thing is that it works like it should..

Update went well here too! Voice pack took a couple min like you said. Thanks for the heads up about that needing to be done. I love that the "Active!" can be removed now. My future passengers and I thank you.

Did factory reset & loaded all 3 files. Control * Setup * Firmware. All went GREAT!

Another +1 for the update.
I put all 3 files on USB and it did voicepack, firmware then reboot itself and went to blue mode, didnt get the saving files like normal for the setup but it seems to have loaded them.

My question ..
I have not updated since 12-22-14
When bringing my ALP (with Hi fi) up to date should I install every update in sequence, or will installing the latest update include those I have not done?
