Well, only thing I've confirmed about the new update is that there is NOT a new voice pack. Just ran a diff on the two files.

The update is more for preparation of some upcoming features, some minor algo tweaks and added international gun support.

I've downloaded the new files but have a question, since I'm using the HiFi module, do I keep the UCSETHIFI and Voicepak files on the flash drive? These were from 12.31.14 when the new HiFi modules came out. Or do I just need the three files on the USB stick? - privacy key file, bin and setup file? Please advise.

After you complete the update, you'll just need the privacy key or it will just go back to parking only mode.

I think I got it. I downloaded the two new files, then I re-downloaded the HiFi Control Module File, and Voicepak File. With the privacy key file already on the USB (I DON'T REMOVE IT FOR ANY REASON) it took the update just fine. Same procedure for my other vehicle, only, no HiFi module, so less files on that USB stick. Seems to be good to go now.

Dukes, you're right, without the privacy key file, it will revert only to a parking sensor system. I've got multiple copies of each privacy key file saved for each vehicle.

Yeah.. There was no reason to re-load the voicepack but it would not hurt anything.

Is there any reason to update the firmware if none of what you've listed applies?
