Yeah that's incredibly cool. Sounds like a technique other than lookup tables are being used then.

LI on the other hand took the approach of well if we show them our hand then they will just change the algo again. That decision was not in the best interest in the community. That decision was made to protect their sales. That should have been the first clue to LI that what needed to be done was much more than conventional way of doing things. Dragon knows how to beat the conventional way and as you can see from the video the other gun companies are figuring it out too!
Competition is good for everyone and we all want the best products possible. Definitely.

You're right that there's a TON of exciting innovation in ALP land. Things seem to have slowed down and matured with Blinder and LI, and that's pretty typical. Lots of R&D at first and then ride the wave to maximize profits from all the initial hard work. At the same time, they do tend to be quiet about the finer points of what all they can and can't jam. To be fair, in the past many of us decided that this was the best way of handling things too and would shy away from disclosing certain things in public like QT and details regarding the DALA as it was seen to be in the best interest of the community to not educate LEO's which would simultaneously not completely inform the CM community as to exactly how protected they are. LI isn't the only one doing this. Are you guys more open about the details here on this forum?
