Heres a video, you will only be able to use the ANT, and you will have to purchase a module from BRD..

The Sti-R Plus does not integrate directly with the ALP, Only the Sti-R Plus Receiver is needed and connects directly to the ALP to add Radar Protection to the ALP. If you already have the plus you are better off running them separately since you will loose the GPS Lockouts with the integration. That feature uses a Patent so its out of the reach for the ALP to offer that feature.

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

This is where YaV1 integration to ALP would be great, as it has that feature and he has talked about adding it. Shame Franky is not on this forum

Do you mean to have ability to receive alarms from STi-R+ and send it to YaV1 and then lockout/mute or just some information from ALP to YaV1 about Lidar detection/jamming ???

There is no YaV1 integration and Fracky is not on this site. I doubt that is anything in the works from him in regard to the ALP.

The way it stands now is the Sti-R Plus can be integrated to the ALP using the RG Module. All Radar Alerts come through either the ALP Controller or the ALP Connect App if using Bluetooth. (Voice Alerts for non ALP Connect users is coming soon that the HiFi module) All Band Segmentation & RDR Options are available and we also have a GPS Antenna getting rolled out next week which will offer Savvy like muting for Radar & Laser alerts as well as the Auto Mute option and custom city filters.

I didn't say that Francky is working on it. I just wanted to know what he had on mind. Sorry for the spam.

I've run tests with the STi-R+ and I've determined that it does NOT operate during warm-up mode. One thing I think could be modified is that the STi-R+ should operate even during warm-up mode. If you're shot with laser, you slow down for 1 minute. I get it. But laser is always an immediate thing (and protection is active rather than passive), whereas radar is simply passive...and sometimes, you only get one warning, and it happens 3 minutes from your encounter with the LEO:

If this guy was using an ALP with STi-R+ integration and got shot with laser 30 seconds before the video started, he would have been toast.

Never noticed this before. Since I run LID = Unlimited there is no reset period. If that is the case I will see what can be done to change radar to operate in the reset period.

Yeah, I run unlimited too, but I was testing with LID period = 4s as well. I'd go to a K band source (like a supermarket door opener) and then fire the laser testing device at the ALP. The STi-R+ went silent for a full minute, and didn't come back up until the warm-up period ended.
