Now that the HiFi module is out, how does that work? I'm guessing identical to the BT module with beeps and the voice to announce the band like in the earlier video? Is there a way to have it just beep but not say "Ka band" during the alerts?

Voice announces the band and then it beeps. There's a slightly different beep for each band. X band sounds similar to the X band on the standard control set, actually. K band and Ka band sound different than the standard control set and I think are harder to distinguish from each other than from X band, because X band sounds so different than any other noise made by the HiFi Control Set.

Like any detector after you hear the alerts a few times you will quickly recignize them. Even in my wifes car and she uses the standard controller (No Hifi & No BT) she and I both can hear the tones and know what they are.

Low speed muting with GPS... if you get an alert below the speed threshold and then speed up above the threshold during the alert, does the alert stay muted or will it unmute?

Is it possible to run both the ALP BT Module to use ALP Connect on iPhone and add V1's bluetooth connection to be able to run YaV1 on an android at the same time? If so, how would you set that up?

I currently have the latest V1 detector that plugs in to the Gen 2 ALP R/G module, w GPS antenna attached to that as well.....ALP Connect works and gets radar alerts from the V1, but was hoping to get more of the YaV1 features, so the ALP and the V1 w YaV1 all work together as one system....any suggestions?

Sorry, I do not use YaV1 so I do not know if the V1 can communicate via ESP and BT at the same time.

If this hasn't been tested yet, I could test this on the weekend if you tell me exactly which functions of YaV1 you want to know work.

I never got around to setting up YaV1 but I have the ALP bluetooth, ALP HiFi, ALP RG v2 w/ STiR+ and GPS, as well as a V1 w/ bluetooth and concealed display.

So I ordered the V1 Connect BT android adapter for the V1 and wasn't able to run it simultaneously with the V1 connected to the ALP RGv2 module, tried using an RJ11 splitter....so maybe there could be another way?

At present, I have my custom sweeps working with the V1 connected to the ALP RGv2 (Note that ALP V1 radar setup setup must be set to Euro Mode for this to work).

Ideally, I'd like to be able to use YaV1's alert logging and integrated google maps lockout functions simultaneously with my V1 plugged into the ALP RGv2 unit. To get that functionality now, I'm guessing I will need to run the ALP and the V1 separately.....

Any thoughts or ideas on how to achieve this would be appreciated.
