You know how all the detectors are weak against the European radars (especially Mesta). So, I'm asking if the STi-R Plus M-Edition antenna is better than the the STi-R Plus 'normal edition' antenna?

Honestly I really do not know. Never seen or tested a Euro version to see if there are any differences.

My opinion is that bell antenna is the same for all region's but i can't confirm for now.
I see the double of distance against my older bell 975.
In Greece we don't have MRCD to check the detection.

some folk have had better sensitivity by mounting the the antenna vertical for low power k band
