    Lexus LX570

Spent part of the morning at an install shop that primarily sells K40, and a little bit of escort 9500ci's. they will be installing a ALP quint and STiR+ this week on my friend's truck. The ALP heads fit excellently in the front grill and in the rear. If he had used LI's he would have to cut his grill, ad due to the width, he wouldn't have been able to place them in good positions on the rear.

I will have pictures later this week.

I also educated the shop's owners on the difference between good and crap. I will be doing some testing for them to show them the difference.

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

SWEET--I really really want to see this and see how it checks out cause Im looking at a new 570 myself and there are perfect places to put the APL's. Get this tested asap lol.

Im assuming 3 up front, if its feasible can you disconnect one head up front and shoot it with 2 ALP's to see how it does, the 570 has a big front end and Im curious as to how well it does lol.

I stopped by the shop one way home. It is almost completed. The rear heads need to be affixed to the car and the front center head is being relocated. The front outer sensors are toed out a few degrees which wasn't requested, but I prefer it for slightly better off axis protection. The interior install is very good, the placements of the user interfaces and display are not where I would place them, but are where my friend 's wife wants them. Personally, I would have gone with iPod integration, but my friend didn't think his wife would adapt to it. I hope they will get the HIFI module when if becomes a available.
