Why is the IR sensor in the Sti not used? At least in theory, it would add more receiving protection (receiving power of three heads) on the front. Is this in the cards for the future, or just impossible to integrate?

It is a selling point to me. Thanks for all you do Tom, including putting up with our high demands

The receiver in the Sti-R Plus is no where near as sensitive as the ALP and its not designed to capture any pulse information other than send an alert message if it detects something. It would only add false alerts and not be beneficial. The Sti-R Plus integration is only to add Radar to the already best laser defense system.

The IR in the STI-R plus and RL is pretty ummm, bad.
No sense in throwing it in, just extra code to cause problems down the line.
