From the Literature we received in the past:

AL Priority is compatible with AL G9 sensors, but is not to be mixed with any other older AL components. Doing so would cause characteristic failure of the unit and voids warranty. If you would like to upgrade your system to AL Priority level, you can purchase AL Priority Control Unit (Control Box with new Control Set) and replace your old control box and set with new one. Old G9 sensors will work well with new Priority box, but parking range adaption (PDC range) may be required. By upgrading to AL Priority you will gain much faster system, that is internet upgradeable, with more ways to reprogram system settings. You will also gain compatibility with third party radar equipment, such as BEL or Shadow Stealth antennas.
