FYI... If anyone still has any issues with Apple BT please update to IOS 8.4, Seems that 8.4 has been very solid and it seems that Apple might have just finally ironed out the BT BLE issues.

No, OTA was only first released on Android.

The past release was a catchup version to fix past due bugs. There will be another release coming soon.

    ALP Connect

I run ALP Connect in the background on my iPhone. I don't get the PopUp box...I get a small text banner at top of iPhone screen...not very useful on a motorcycle with gloves and the iPhone requiring a double click of the 'home' button followed by selecting the ALP Connect app in order to bring ALP Connect to the foreground. The app should have an option in setup to bring ALP Connect to foreground immediately following an alert. Much more useful visually and functionally allowing a touch of the screen to revert to Park Assist. I sent the below request to Antilaser requesting the mod and am awaiting response:

    email:
    Hello,

I sent the below message to your support page on your web site. It's actually two messages; the original along with follow-up requesting a most useful mod to your 'ALP Connect' application. Please review my request and let me know if AL Priority can incorporate into the ALP Connect application.

    Thanks,

Follow-up message on ALP Support Web Page:
    Hello,

I sent the below message to you a few days ago requesting what I believe is an improvement to your 'ALP Connect' application. I have not received a response. This requested modification should be easily incorporated into the app and would enhance your already great application. Most users of 'ALP Connect' do so with the application running in the background and a navigation or music app running in the foreground. Currently when a laser 'hit' is detected, ALP Connect only displays a small text banner at top of iPhone screen..hardly noticeable, or actionable, on a motorcycle while traveling 80mph down the highway. It would great if 'APL Connect' would switch to the foreground immediately upon detection of a laser 'hit'. This would visually and functionally be a great improvement drawing attention to the alert visually and allowing a touch of the screen to place ALP in park assist mode with a touch of the screen after rolling off the throttle and slowing down.

Please advise with an email reply if this modification can be incorporated into ALP Connect.

    Thank You,

    Ron Reagin

    Original ALP Support Page Message:
I have a dual ALP sensor system installed on my motorcycle, front & rear. I also have the BT module and run the ALP Connect app on my iPhone. Most times I run ALP Connect in the background with one of my music apps in the foreground. My iPhone (phone/music), ALP sys, Escort Redline, Garmin NavIV GPS, Bike-to-Bike and bike Alpine audio systems are all wired thru my Autocom system and hardwired from the Autocom to my in-ear monitors. This system performs wonderfully.

When the ALP system detects a laser hit, an alert is annunciated via ALP Connect/Autocom in my in-ear-monitors. Usually I will be listening to music (Pandora) and the ALP alert is broadcast slightly louder than the music with a small ALP alert banner displayed at top of iPhone (Pandora) screen.

My request to AL Priority is for a software modification that will bring ALP Connect out of background mode to foreground enabling a touch of the screen to disable jammer reverting to park assist. This would be a much better visual alert and a big plus with ability to manually disable jammer. I have my unit set at 8 seconds which I feel to be minimum most times and in certain instances may be too long reverting to park assist. Could this feature not be easily added as an option during setup?

Please reply and let me know if ALP Connect can be modified for this feature.

    Thanks,

    Ron Reagin
