People, you need to read what is going on with IOS 8 and bluetooth before pointing fingers. It's not an ALP issue. Like it has been stated, "Google it"..

I think you need to read the article you posted. First three paragraphs the guy says it was a manufacturer issue for him, that a manufacturer update solved, and don't jump to blame Apple. And later he says wait for 8.1 (which beta testers indicate fixed many issues). Some of us waited and are back here posting because 8.1 did not solve the ALP issue.
It is only normal R&D/Validation process to determine what is not working rather than rely on Google anecdotal evidence. BRD had some "maybes" in his response. I'm looking for definitive answer as to what is going to happen. That requires ALP Engineering to collaborate with Apple on the failure mode and fix timing since 8.1 did not solve, in my opinion.
I'm being patient by the way, I have not asked for a refund since I know this is a bug and will likely get resolved eventually. Not unhappy with the product or my decison to purchase. Just anxious to get what I bought working again.

Dear OrlNme
Please see extract below from the post you said before pointing fingers which contradicts yourself

Before continuing on, remember that some devices, such as car systems, may have compatibility issues until an update is issued. For example, during the beta versions of iOS 8, my car frequently dropped during music playback. After a week or so of the official version being released, my car's system received an update that has since seemed to resolve the issue.
In short, make absolutely certain iOS 8 is to blame and it isn't an issue that needs to be addressed with the accessory manufacturer. And if you're still sure your iPhone or iPad is the issue, continue on through the follow steps to troubleshoot the problem.
