What to do after an encounter?

Do I need to upload anything after an encounter? I am not sure how your database works. I am assuming that when the iphone app comes out, it will have the ability to tell the user if you have stumbled on to a new kind of protection. Please enlighten me.

Until you have voice or visual alerts don't do anything.

You do not need to do anything after an encounter. Hopefully you set your LID settings to 4-5 seconds and it will defend you long enough to slow to a safe speed and they will get a reading on you at the reduced speed and you can go on your way. Unless you drive in areas where Laser Ally guns are used heavily you will never need to send us anything. If you want to help other drivers in your area use a smartphone app like Waze and let others know of the trap when you find one.

There is no need to report an encounter. The only time you will ever have to do something is if you come in contact with a new gun and nothing happens because its not recognized yet. We are have many advanced users already on the lookout for this and reporting data when needed. The odds of anyone in their normal daily run finding a new gun in the field is beyond very rare at the moment. When we need assistance in an area we will let users know what to do in the areas of concern.
