Also, when I manually check firmware version, it is still at 4.3.1. The first time I attempted firmware update to 4.3.5 (I didn't know I had to register my serial number first), the system actually blinked different colors and rebooted, but still at 4.3.1. After this, it won't even attempt to perform the update sequence. Plug in USB with firmware, UCSET, setup.alp, nothing happens. Thanks for your patience in trying to help me with this problem by the way!
I thought you mentioned it was a new system which would have come with a blinking green light. Have you registered the product? The latest firmware is only available to registered users? If so try to download it again because if you downloaded it before registration you will not get a proper file. Format the drive download all 3 files and try again and let me know what happens. Also you can PM me your order number and serial number it would be helpful.
