@RedRocket Ah, I found out what happened. So I don't have to tear apart my car, I had the serial number stored electronically with the "U". The textbox on alpupdate only allows 7 characters. With the "U" my serial number is 8 characters. So when I pasted the serial number into the textbox, the textbox truncated the last digit. That's why it wasn't working.
I don't have the packaging box because it was a warranty replacement thus I don't know the manufacture date. I got the warranty replacement mid-2016 and once I got the serial number entered correctly alpupdate let me download. It appears to be working after the update, so I'm assuming I don't have one of the older models. Thanks.
