DSP is also more sensitive that the original NT which is based on an Analog platform while the DSP is a Digital platform. If you only have a front NR, moving the front antenna to the rear and adding the new DSP in front will give you radar direction if that is something you might be interested in.Originally Posted by p911

Before looking at an Escort Radar Detector you should really check out Uniden Detectors.. Uniden R1 & R3 are the best performing radar detectors for the money.

Thanks for the advise, I ended up getting the dsp. Since I haven't spend any money on this stuff in 5 years I think its a good update. Also don't think MRCD will be out of the east coast for much longer. Will post pics of the new install late June hopefully!
