Different LID setting for different Lidar units

You only need the full 4 sec jam-from-gun on rear facing poliscans in a 40 km/h limit to clear its 75m maximum range. faster limits, you're clear from it's reach much quicker

As dragons says, front facers often give > 400m warning - really well hidden, 45 degrees across the road will still give 120 - 150m warning, so at least double its maximum range.

Need to try and find the max range of the Jenoptik TraffiStar S350(M) which is a scanning lidar like poliscan.
