Different LID setting for different Lidar units

Not sure if this has been asked before, or if it’s possible, but I think it’s a good idea!
I’m assuming the different Laser units are used for different purposes, ie Hand Held and other manual guns guns are seperate to automatic guns if that makes sense.
Since it’s recommended to only use 4 seconds for manual guns due to avoid possible police intervention, can the controller be programmed to use longer time for automatic laser units which are not physically operated by police????
This would give you a longer time to react and slow down and avoid detection since there is no police to come after you
Is this worth looking into?

Some of us asked for this a few years ago, but nothing was ever done about it, so I dare say it's a no.
