    Hello

Hello I have just purchased a AL Priorty and plan to do an install myself on my 2016 Corvette Z06. I appreciate the helpful information this forum has provided. I have been using a V1 for years and believe the AL will be a great addition.

    Welcome from Canada.

You will appreciate your Alp , it is wize to do your install : money in your pocket + experience acquired.

I am not familiar with Corvette though , the most difficult is to pass wires thru the firewall , the balance is cake.

    Good luck ,

Hi Edwardz & welcome to the Forum... plus you've made an excellent choice for Laser defense.
Keep us posted on how the install is going.

Thank you, the install went well. Worked slow and steady as not to damage the car and get a neat install. The configuring started well and the system is up and running. I tried to reconfigure using USB and have not been successful. I deleted all prior files and only have the one config.alp file with latest configuration with three profiles A B and C. I called tech support at ALPUSA and was told it should be easy but was told I should just use one profile. I am wondering if that feature works and if anyone has got that to work. I am looking forward to testing my system and tweaking the settings. I have found a lot of good information here and I am looking for help testing the system in central Kentucky near Lexington.

Yes, the 3 Profile option does work & many users do employ that feature. It sounds like you made 1 or more errors in creating the new ones when you went the "reconfigure" route. What happens sometimes is when you do a new download to a USB your Desktop computer will 'rename' the file (by adding a number inside the file name) if you DID NOT first delete the original one you created...the ALP system WILL NOT accept a NEW file if it has an extra 'digit' in the file name.

It's likely that, or you made some errors or omissions within the 3 new Profiles you created.

p.s. - As for "Testing", that will be a challenge as I do not know of any organized group in that area who holds regular sessions. Closest one I'm aware of is in Georgia. There's a couple of guys in S.C./Kentucky I believe who have 2 or 3 Lidar guns. I'll try to contact them to see what they have. @radargeek
