stats file; unable to obtain it

to trouble shoot an error message, i'm trying to upload the stats file to alp. But three tries with two separate fat 32 thumb drives failed.

I tried to follow the directions from website.
Maybe I didn't do it correctly

please clarify between "next" button, "enter" button and "menu" button

My control panel has only two buttons:
left button has an on-off symbol
    right button labeled menu

    which is "next"
    and which is "enter" ?

    thank you for help

Menu = Next, Power = Enter. There's icons above the buttons (a straight arrow for next and a right-angle arrow for enter) but they don't have the words "next" or "enter."

Here's the instructions from the website with the button names clarified:
Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port on the AL Control Box, or to a USB extension cable,
Enter Yellow Menu by long press of the MENU button,
Press MENU 8 times then press POWER,
AL system will store your present settings (CONFIG.alp) and use statistics to USB flash drive by creating a file named STATS.alp. If file storing was successful the system will alert you with a short blue LED light. The AL system will exit yellow menu after a few seconds of being inactive.
Connect this USB flash drive to your computer.
Click Browse and find the STATS.alp file on your USB memory drive and press Upload.
If I passed you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

What is your firmware version on your CPU? If you have not updated in a while the instructions above will not work. The procedure on old firmware was different. Make sure your firmware is updated prior to pulling a statistics file. Also, The ALP will only work with genuine USB 2.0 Drives and not the later 3.0 faster USB Drives.
