I sent several emails to AL directly several months ago with ZERO response.
AL users in the US are very very lucky to have you as their "AL go to guy"
In simple terms the UK isnt a big market for jammers and as such the guys involved aren't experienced enough and don't sell enough units to keep abreast of what's being produced by AL.
To be the only distributor in a whole country and be unaware of 2 major accessories of a system you stock is plainly a joke.

If AL UK aren't replying you could always just contact the factory, as far as I remember they sell direct to areas that have no re seller, I would presume that would also mean defunct re-seller.
If only it was that simple.
After having no luck with the U.K. Distributor I emailed AL directly. No reply ever, to several emails over many months.
It's utterly ridiculous. AL head office don't want to sell in the UK as they seem to believe their hopeless UK reseller is doing the business, yet they are oblivious to the backward nature of these guys.
I'm still waiting to buy a V2 BT module.
I had to email and tell them it existed. FFS
Take a Train ride to France & buy from the French distributor. Maybe the Regional AL Priority firmware is all the same for the EU.Quote:

I contacted your company using the website messaging system and was told you could not sell to me either as I MUST buy from the UK distributor.
So myself and others are in a shitty loop.

Thankfully I can now bypass the pathetic UK distributor for all things AL from now on.

Glad it all worked out for you. Problem you were having is generic emails sent to the info emails gets routed to the closest distributor based on your location (IP Address Etc.) once you sent an email directly to AL Croatia they were able to see it and respond.Quote:

Clearly AL is being let down by other people's' shoddy CS but they can affect it by taking more interest in what their distributors are doing.
Today my BT v2 module arrived from AL homebase.

This thread is a good reminder to those of us in the USA and Canada how fortunate we are with our distributors (BRD & KMPH)
Absolutely.
It's also a very important reminder to AL themselves that having a great product is one thing, having a reseller that knows their onions is quite something else.
Without a talented reseller, those well designed products won't leave the shelves.
Reminds me of the early days of LI. I bought mine direct from Ivan as Elvis was a complete fucking tool. As soon as Cliff took over, LI blossomed.
