No new dragons but if he is using the wrong ports he will have issues. For some reason several installers don't read the instructions and use the F1 & F3 or if using 3 they are not using the center in F2.

We tested several cars at the last meet and everyone assured me their setups were done correctly but as soon as they started shooting the dragon guns I could immediately tell 3 systems were incorretly installed and I even noted on the sheets that they had port errors.Quote:

the sensors on that car dont seem to be aligned correctly the outer ones seem to follow the front contours of the carQuote:

Post pictures of the vehicle here and I can assist. I am not creating more accounts on more forums.
Also just because sensors show Front & Rear sensors attached it does not mean dealer is not mixing front and rear ports. There can be lots of issues with wiring if care is not taken.
I just pulled the undertray on the dash. The wires from the front sensors are connected to f1 and f2. The wires from the rear sensors are connected to r1 x and r2. I wanted to re-check them. When I was doing the install you told me to make sure that I hooked them up that way and that's what I did. The car is bright yellow and the grill is black so I'm having a hard time getting photo's that show up well the sensors are level and don't follow the contours of the car. Attachment 4714Quote:

I also took a look at "badhabit wb" install for you & you may pass on I see his problem. His Dual AL-P Sensors are spaced to far apart (I measured ~26-27") & much to wide spaced for ANY D.E.T. Lidar. I just pulled a tape along the contour of the front and it was 25 1/2" between the sensor. It looked like 24 3/4" actually between the inside edges of both sensors. If you think that's the problem I can move them closer together or if it would be better buy another sensor. The rear sensors are only 20" apart and I had the same results with pt's.Attachment 4715
How old is the system? Was it purchased new from us?
I'm more conservative than most b/c I understand from the Shooters perspective just how dangerous the D.E.T. Lidars are...especially the very tight laser beam from the "Compact" model. I prefer spacings to be in a tighter window of 18-22". Those outboard TLs on a 'Vette are easy pickin's.Quote:

Were are you located? Are you running current firmware? We're you in Unlimited Jamming? Can't tell you how many systems we test with LID at 4 seconds and of course at 5+ seconds it's IPT.
I'm in NC I loaded the current firmware in early August. I had a problem with the voice pack so I loaded the male voice over the female and then reloaded the female voice pack. It all seemed to be working properly. I was set in unlimited jamming for the test. Fwiw I had it set the same for the 3 other guns and it jammed them all the way to the gun front and rear.These are the guns used.
1. LTi LRB
2. Stalker XLR
3. LTi TruSpeed S compact
4. Dragon Ally compact
If it jammed the balance of the guns but just not the dragon your heads are not straight and square or heads are in wrong ports. Alignment issues are very critical with dragon guns. 5 degrees off with make a big difference. I can explain more over the phone only if you want to call me on Monday.

Bubble orientation generally doesn't matter, the net effect is basically the 1 inch difference in bubble to bubble distance. The bubble is where the receiver is.Quote:
