Welcome.. You should consider the Sti-R Plus & ALP Combo if you are installing new. It would offer you much more protection especially on Laser.Quote:

Welcome to the forum. If you like the V1, keep it, make sure it has the ESP protocol (it will ESP written under the dial), get V1 connection for android and a a compatible android device and run the free android app YaV1 available in Google Play. The V1 will out perform the Escort 9500ci. If you need laser protection, the AL Priority offers much better protection than the Escort 9500ci.
