Hey guys, I have been using radar detectors for a while now, current one is an Escort 9500ix, and I just picked up an AL Priority after getting way too many laser tickets and thought this forum would be full of info so here I am. I have the ALP all setup and ready to go, haven't been hit with laser yet since I installed it though so I was wondering, if anyone in the NE Ohio area has access to laser guns, would you mind helping me test my system out?
Welcome from the Northeast. ALP's are the best available, but yes, you need to get them (your install) tested. Post up some pics (obscure your license plate) and you can get some good placement advice

Also, thanks for the quick shipment on my order! One thing I found though was the instructions say the sensors come with heat shrink tubing to waterproof the connectors, which my boxes did not have. Any way I could get a couple of those sent to me? I just super wrapped them in electrical tape for now.

Instructions were from the old sensors where we used din connectors which are no longer used. The new connectors are completely water & moisture proof and shrink tubing is no longer needed.Quote:

I would, but I am going to need them that long when I permanently mount them in the spring. You can't really tell, but it is solid plastic in the center of the grill where the crash bar is and where the license plate should go. That is where I am going to screw the bracket into.Quote:

Question for you guys, do the heads have to be flipped opposite each other? If you look at my pic you will see I have them facing the same way, didn't figure it mattered and didn't want the label showing.
BRD has mentioned before that it doesn't matter whether bubbles in or out.
