I have just purchased a ALP and will be fitting it during the next two and I'm sure I will need information on the best positions to fit the equipment for the best results and will look forward to many happy hours behind the wheel

We have a company called Truvelo who manufactures speed checking equipment Pro-Laser ProLite etc. in SA and is very active in selling them all over SA. From what I hear the ALP equipment will be quite busy

Yes,you're close to Uitenhage & on the lower Southern Eastcoast.I'm not sure if we have any pix of MB C250 installs here on the Forum or not as I havn't looked thru that Section for sometime & can't remember what the front grill area looks like.
If you find a pix of one on the Internet members here will offer suggestions when you're ready.As you're in the Southern Hemisphere it summertime so good weather to get to work unless it's a really hot day there. :thumb:

rear: under chrome strip at the as far laterally as possible.

Front: upper grill under lowest slat. As far laterally as possible.

Should the bubble of the sensor be on the inside or outside on each side
Or does it not matter, I would think an extra inch may make a difference
I know this is basic for most of the users but can't find this info
I hope the snow is not too deep there

Exc. locations & have the center-to-center spacing of the Sensors 17"-19" apart.For Front could be under the lower chrome slat or below on the very bottom shelf of the grill,whichever is the most level surface,easiest to mount.The Sensors HAVE to face straight forward (& level)-do not follow the curvature of the Frontal area( & same for the Rear). If you put the bubbles outward,they will be almost centered equal triangle spaced distance from HLs,& lower turn-signal lights & both sides of Front LP edges.

You're correct an extra inch doesn't really make much difference b/c the ALs are so sensitive.
