We have sold many ALP's now but only one person has decided to leave a review on the ALP USA site:

If any of you would like to share a review good or bad with customers that might be considering one I would appreciate you spending a few moments to help some customers who are looking for some honest reviews on the product.
Will do after testing tomorrow, I've been letting people know about ALP on the other forum when someone asks for advice/opinions.

Do you wanna send an email out to your customers who've purchased the ALP from you?
One of those "Would you like to leave a review of your experience now that you've had it for a little while? Do you have any questions?" etc.
We do automatically send out an email 30 days after purchase but no one ever wants to write reviews for their items. We usually get around 2% that leave reviews on items purchased.Quote:

I haven't run mine long enough, having just installed a cpl weeks ago and only radar hits since. Soon though and I'm on pins and needles awaiting the fix for youknowwhat!
JTG on 9 different guns front & rear, very happy with the results. I'll put a review together for the site within a day or two when I have more time.

But in all of my time spent on this "new" entrant to CMs,I have yet to have my own install on my own car tested by anyone.
I have to shake my head & laugh at the incongruity of this fact ! :rofl-1:

There is no problem with that. If you are in Canada Alex from KMPH will take care of you and its really better for you in the long run. If you do experience any issues in the future you will not have to send warranty items back to the states and deal with customs issues and delays with shipping so you would get serviced better locally. I of course will be here to help you if you do have any issues regardless of where you purchased it.Quote:

I researched for nearly a year before finally deciding on what system to purchase. I read every website and watched countless hours of YouTube, to find as many examples/opinions and then form my on conclusion.
UPGRADE ABILITY
What initially excited me was the ability to update via USB, as I had read that updates where imperative to high satisfaction, and that other brands, even those that are cherished by their owners, where not happy about update cables and software issues during updates.
EXPANDABLE
I was also highly interested in the "all in one" capabilities to include Stir radar antenna, and an iPhone application. I already use the SmartRadar by Escort with the Escort Live on my iPhone, so I believed an app would compliment my existing set up.
RESULTS
I've now had the unit for 6 months. I have dual setup on front and single setup on rear. In two test sessions against 5 major Police LIDAR guns, my car is completely invisible with the dual setup in the front, and 95% invisible on the rear WITH A SINGLE HEAD! My single head on the rear has outperform others with dual rear head systems. I am confident when I add a second head to the rear, I will be 100% stealth to LIDAR.
I also live in an area where the Dragon LIDAR is used, which is lethal against other brands, but not the ALP. I have personally had 3 saves against the Dragon. This alone has made the purchase well worth the money.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
The icing on the cake has been the customer service. Tom at Best Radar has answered countless questions and numerous phone calls. All of my business now belongs to Tom and Best Radar.

I came across a DE in FL and only the V1 alerted. Other jammers installed were all silent!
And I just saw the most traffic enforcement with both laser and radar in southern GA.
They were absolutely brutal!
VG
