Can someone post me up a picture of the mounting bracket for the alp? It comes with the bendable style one like the LI one right?

-get popcorn & beer 1st :playful:
mtg brkt, bendable where the multi hole run across, and the heads fit very snug ,
EASILY bendable where the multi hole run across, fixed
bendable anywhere with a vise
Anyone want to be a real stand up guy and measure the bracket width? I'll be your best friend. I'm wondering if I can fit it through the plastic mesh grill of my focus st without cutting.

I'll measure the opening that is going to be close

I'll have to cut the grill or grind down the bracket :/

If the head will fit in the grill at the widest point use some silicone that will hold them in my fronts are held in with silicone
For any laser jammer installation you will need the cut the grill. If you want to get fancy, you can build a scaffold out of aluminum between the grill and radiator to attach the jammer head brackets to. If I remember correctly, there was a member on the other forum EX35 that did that for a installation on a BMW x5.
Had to cut my ST grill to fit in the LI but it is the 2010 model
This would be my choice location.
I would remove the grill , grind from behind to make a nest for the baby , then install
it flush leaving a 1\8 '' to sit an Irt plexi ....stealth\secure.

This doesn't look that hard at all to solve & have an idea for you. There's a Ford dealership the next town over from me,I will stop by later today to see if they have one in the lot so I can take some measurements.
The hardest part is knowing where to get thru the firewall...have you figured that out ?
I found the easiest way to get thru the firewall is coming thru the in cabin air filter box. Usually behind the grove box. Note sure about his model ford.
Yeah firewall shouldn't be a problem.
I am thinking of making the scaffold out of the mounting bracket itself. But I will just have to modify the bracket and make it narrower to fit through the honeycomb. I'll pass it through the grill and screw it on from underneath somehow.

Well, they had a bright yellow SI on the lot.The honeycomb lattice grill was solid black plastic,no where could I put my finger thru !
Yet pix of your's appears to have some solid areas & some of the lattice work looks open...is this correct?
Yeah on top and bottom it's open, solid in the middle to cover the actual bumper/crash bar. It wasn't a fiesta st was it?

Never walked to the rear to see name, but frontal area w/ "ST" emblem was exactly same as your pix.
External to grill could be done w/ supplied mount, but prolly an aesthetics issuing for you I'm guessing,eh ?
Doubt you would want it mounted where the hood closes near the HL's would you ?
"In" the grill or behind it would involve cutting a couple webs of the lattice work where it's open, like near the curved plastic bar structure.
Careful cutting & leaving a small horiz. piece for mounting w/ a few beads of glue or "RTV" silicone rubber to secure firmly is doable.
Yeah its doable for sure just have to get creative.

Easily doable after taking a second closer look w/o a Salesman cornering me like yesterday.BTW,the Yellow hot rod WAS a 6-spd Focus ST w/ a 2013 new car invoice sticker on Drivers window.
Judiciously careful cutting w/ a "fine toothed" hacksaw blade removed from tool handle makes this super easy & quick.A small section of lattice work cut out from between adjacent honeycomb sections leaves a "perfect" horiz. flat & level pieces on which to set the Sensors on.A small bead of silicone rubber under each side will secure it firmly in place.By using this method, easy removal is guaranteed when car is sold.
If you keep & save the 2 cut-out pieces, they could be glued back in place & no one would ever be the wiser when sold.
" >-<" - Removing a section like this near the top of that curved plastic support bar is all that is required.
