Probably because the new self check is more detailed to catch issues and not let you drive off thinking you are protected if it finds an issue. If its beeping a continuous 2 beeps and does not stop its either because all your sensors on one side of the vehicle are blocked or you have a sensor failure. You need to disconnect one sensor at a time until the alert stops and you will be able to troubleshoot which sensor is tripping the error.Quote:

Hey for everyone, since in the past the up dates took a little while to up load to the cpu, this one takes a little as well.
So be patient, mine took about 3 minutes and it felt like 10 lol
Just let it go u till you get the blue flashing light and when it goes out you will get a beep when it goes off and youre all set.
Tom if im wrong please correct me... this was how my update went
EDIT: Tom i went thru all the steps and re down loaded all the new software and all i get is parking mode, It will not go into defence mode...? Anything
