It's in final testing. We offered everyone a few weeks back to be part of the Beta program and 80+ users are running the final Beta. It will be released shortly.

Still crashing out on my iPhone 4S 7.1.2 jailbroken as per the first pre-beta (pre-TestFlight) .ipa which was e-mailed out.
I did un-install the beta before downloading the new version from the appstore today.
TestFlight can't have allowed anyone on iOS 7 (which ALPConnect supports) to test the beta, as TestFlight requires iOS 8.0 or above.
Can supply crash dump if required.
Pretty sure you will have to have a more recent IOS version. You are very far behind and many apps no longer support that old version. I do have a 4S on current IOS and there are no crashes.

Yeah, perhaps the developer needs to consider whether ALPConnect still supports iOS 7, as the appstore still says it does ;

My 4S runs nicely, and is jailbroken on 7.1.2. I'm worried that upgdrading it to the latest iOS will cripple it performance wise.Quote:
Compatibility: Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone 4S....
What iOS version are you running on your 4S Tom, and what is the performance like ?
Cheers

question on new smartphone app. I have the Bluetooth module and the hifi speaker. Is there a way to run the app while the alerts still come through the installed speaker??
The new Suppress function is AWESOME!!! This system is now absolutely everything I want it to be. Thank you so much for being so responsive to your users and our feedback!
Can you please clarify the functionality of the 'TeachSuppress' setting? Does tapping the 'Suppress' button only add the source to the suppression database if the 'TeachSuppress' is ON?
I've noticed that 'TeachSuppress' automatically turns itself off each time my phone disconnects from the ALP system, so I have to turn it back on every time I re-enter the vehicle and reconnect. Is this a bug or intended behavior?
Also, is there any further documentation on the detailed implementation of the suppression? Curious about how much of the band is filtered, the diameter of geofence for each suppression point, how many different suppression reports are required before a certain suppression point is added to the database, etc.
TeachSuppress will ignore all X & K band alerts when in that learning mode. It's really a feature that you should only use once when learning the bulk alerts at one time.

Ok got it. So just to clarify, even when TeachSuppress is OFF tapping the 'Suppress' button will add the point to the database?
Yes, If you look at the map screen it will mark on the map the beginning to end of the alert.

If using the menu buttton on the control pad to switch between parking mode and protection mode. But when i connect to the BT module it locks out the controller but the software doesnt have a option to then switch to parking mode. Without buying a hifi or gps, is there a way software can have a button to swap from parking to protection ?
You can switch Profiles in BT

Ok great, can you link me to infonthat describes jow to use more than one profile in BT when no hifi is used. Does a usb stick need to be plugged in. Thank you
As Tom says, just check the 'use profiles' on the alpupdate configure page ;
Attachment 5600
Setup your three profiles as you want on the 3 pages (profile A, B & C), download the config.alp file from the website, put on USB stick, plug into the ALP, and you will be able to switch between A,B & C on the ALPConnect app. You can then remove the USB stick
oh you can do that without Hifi ! Awesome.
i was reading this and thought he said thats not possible with no hifi

ok great thanks !
So I have the iPhone 7 Plus. I have the ALPConnect app installed. Is their a way to have the app go into landscape mode? Cause as far as I can tell the app is only in Portrait mode. While it's not the worse of deals, I usually use it in the background with my GPS navigation on the screen in landscape mode so if I have to switch back to the app I have to rotate my phone to portrait to be able to see what I am doing. Is it possible to update it so that landscape is supported or am I missing something?
